Alright when you think of a beauty skin care regime what do you think of? I think about Retinol Creams that have this anti-aging promise to somehow reverse the years of experience from my face. Eye creams that will miraculously whisk away the collection of life and laugh lines that I have accumulated over my 36 wonderful years. Perhaps a face wash, make up remover or cleanser that will by some mystery remove the mascara that is “water-proof” and pretty much permanent from my eye lashes. I don’t or should I say, I did not really understand the true importance of this routine. All of the empty promises found in these little bottles let me down over the years and some actually made my skin worse! So is a skin routine worth it?
The answer is simple, yes – your skin is your bodies largest organ. It needs hydration just like the rest of your organs do. BUT … you want to be REALLY selective on the product selection that you make. Given that your skin is the largest organ also means it is the most susceptible organ since everything you put on it, you are essentially putting into your body. GO NATURAL. Yeah, that is easy for me to say, right? I work for an amazing, all natural and toxin-free company. True. But, the change was no easier for me than it is for you. The key I found was being informed. So, here is my honest opinion and the truth as I have interpreted it from the research that I have done. I will not promise miracles but, I will promise that you will love your skin again.
#1 – The most important step (aside from washing with warm water, which seems obvious) is MOISTURIZE. You want to feed your skin, give it the nourishment and hydration that it requires to stay healthy.
#2 – Read the label. Many face care products today have harmful ingredients like Retinol, Methylisothiazolinone (MCI/MI), Propylene Glycol, Synthetic Colors, DMDM Hydrantoin, Methyl, Propyl, Butyl, and Ethyl Paraben, Triethanolamine (TEA)/Diethanolamine (DEA), Imidazolidinyl Urea and Diazolidinyl Urea, Behentrimonium Chloride, Titanium, Zirconium, Benzalkonium, Bismuth, Antimony, Barium, Aluminum, Tin, Chromium, Benzene & PCBs. #3 – Understand the benefits of natural ingredients like Hemp Oil, Apricot Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter and Essential Oils. Mother Nature offers many amazing ingredients for beautiful skin. For more on Natural Key Ingredients click here http://koginaturals.com/pages/key-ingredients
#4 – Know your skin type and understand what it is asking you for. Click here to determine your skin type http://koginaturals.com/pages/skin-dilemma
#5 – Stop buying into empty promises. We all age and there is simply no denying that. My mom has always told me to never strive to be younger and just be the best that I can be at my age. In my opinion, stop trying to take 10 years off, instead embrace your beauty transformation and be the best that you can be.Be sure to stay away from the chemicals. Read your product labels, know the facts. Many of the chemicals found in these commercial beauty creams have adverse affects on skin and can actually irritate and harm you instead of delivering on an anti-aging promise. Go natural.
